Belgrade has always been a city where important European roads cross, and it is therefore easy to reach in several ways.

“Nikola Tesla” Airport is situated 18 km west of the city center.
Belgrade city center can be reached by Air Serbia bus (Bus route: Airport – New Belgrade (Fontana) – Central railway station – Slavija square; Departures from the airport: after each flight from 7.00 to 22.00; the journey takes about 30 minutes), Public transportation (А1 Mini bus that goes to Slavija square and Public transportation bus line 72 that goes to Zeleni venac), by Taxi (it takes about 20 minutes to the center) or by Car rental.

Belgrade Centre railway station is situated near to the city center.

CITY PUBLIC TRANSPORT IN BELGRADE

Public transport in Belgrade includes GSP “Beograd” busses, trolley busses and tramways and privately owned busses covering nearly 100 daily and night lines.

Tourists in Belgrade are advised to use the taxi. The Tourist Information Centers at the Belgrade Airport and the Belgrade Centre Railway Station will gladly call a taxi for you so you can be sure you pay the regular fare.
